U of A’s in-progress ARG game engine, fAR-Play (and/or versions of it) were used over the summer in Campus Mysteries, and this past September in the Humanities Computing Intensity Challenenge.

Campus Mysteries was a virtual scavenger hunt wherein teams of children traveled around the U of A campus looking for clues about a ghost and learning about the University’s history.

The HuCo Design Challenge has teams of first year MA in Humanities Computing students design an alternate reality game, fAR-Play being one of the platform options for them.
